Vivo is in the game with its latest Vivo V50 Series. This time, Vivo is beating all other brands by battery features. The Vivo V50 Series was released on February 17, 2025, and was in the market on February 25, 2025. All four mobiles were released in February and March, but Vivo V50e is still coming soon. Vivo is featuring a Si/C Li-Ion 6500 mAh battery in this series. The price range of this series is also making it more attractive. The design’s concept is taken from the Vivo Y200. Vivo installed Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Vivo V50, which is considered quite good but can’t give an extreme experience. The Vivo V50e features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, which is almost the same as the Vivo V50 and the same in performance as well. Both the Vivo V50 Lite and the V50 Lite 4G have the same processor: Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 685. This time Vivo didn’t make many changes in performance. You can see some lag while using them. Back to the older models, the Vivo Y100 and Vivo Y200 have the same processors: Snapdragon 685.

The Vivo V50 Series has noticeable changes in its battery system. The battery capacity is increased from 5,500 mAh to 6,500 mAh. The charging features have also been updated. Vivo upgraded itself from 44W to 90W wired charging, 50% in 23 min, 100% in 52 min.

The Vivo V50 Series has the lowest price as compared to the other V-series. The V50 Series starting price is $429.99 / PKR 139,999 for Vivo V50 and $249.99 / PKR 74,999 for Vivo V50 Lite 4G. According to the specs, features, and design, it can be considered value for money.
Vivo is just changing the design, name, and battery system and providing us its devices. No big change can be seen in this series compared to the previous ones. Vivo might change/upgrade its specs in its next series.
